Gumboy Tournament is an arcade game developed by Cinemax. The game is the sequel to the acclaimed Gumboy: Crazy Adventures game. And although Tournament is similar, that is not a bad thing. On the contrary, this makes a good game great. Gumboy Tournament follows the same game style. You control a ball of gum that sticks around the walls of some crazy and beautiful levels. The objective of the levels are varied, they can be a check-point race, capture the flag, star chase or diamond hunt. All 80 levels have these 4 game types available. The great thing is also the multi-player modes; you can play with up to 9 players on a LAN or Online, or even in split screen (only 4 players though). The game is entertaining because its physics are so well done. The levels are beautiful and challenging and if that wasn't enough, you also have power ups. These games created by small developers are so much sweeter because they rely on innovation rather than big bucks. This is an excellent game. It may be more suited children, but all can have fun with Gumboy. |
